Get to Know Your Watershed: Become a Beluga Citizen Scientist Workshop

In April 2018 AKBMP partner Beluga Whale Alliance hosted the Get to Know Your Watershed: Become a Beluga Citizen Scientist Workshop in Girdwood, Alaska in conjunction with the Four Valleys Community School and Cook Inletkeeper. This event featured several guest speakers and presentations on federal beluga conservation efforts, how to document marine mammal activity in the field, and how to get involved with shore-based beluga monitoring projects throughout the region. Thanks everyone for a fantastic night of learning about and connecting over beluga whales! See you next time!
